Senior Software Developer and Team Lead

Join us in taking PlanBørnefonden’s digital solutions to the next level - and lead a skilled team of developers along the way

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Software Developer who is enthusiastic about both technology and people development. You will play a key role in our digital transformation and be responsible for leading and motivating our team of two software developers and one software development apprentice.

About the role

As a Senior Software Developer at PlanBørnefonden, you will be part of our digital team of 10 people. You will have a central role in driving technical development and ensuring that our systems and data infrastructure support the organization’s ambition to be best in class in data and digitalization.

You will:

  • Lead and develop a small team of developers – including mentoring, prioritization, and follow-up
  • Design and build robust and scalable solutions in .NET with a focus on automation and integration
  • Be technically responsible for the further development and customization of Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Ensure high quality in code, documentation, and technical architecture
  • Collaborate closely with the business to identify needs and design solutions
  • Help set the direction for our technology choices and development methods
  • Manage the collaboration with our dedicated external consultancy partner, including task coordination and quality assurance of deliverables

We imagine that you:

  • Have solid experience with .NET development and backend architecture in C#
  • Have worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and understand how it can be tailored to business processes
  • Have experience with leadership or team responsibility
  • Are used to working with CRM data, SQL, data modeling, and integration
  • Have knowledge of React and frontend development (an advantage, not a requirement)
  • Are structured, quality-conscious, and good at documenting solutions
  • Thrive in a role that combines hands-on development with strategic oversight

What kind of leader are you?

You are a natural sparring partner and role model for your team. You are motivated by seeing others succeed, and you are able to create direction and structure without losing the good collaboration and informal tone. You communicate complex solutions in a simple way to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Who are we?

PlanBørnefonden is one of Denmark’s largest privately funded child rights organizations and part of Plan International, which operates in over 70 countries. We fight for children’s rights and gender equality – with a special focus on girls, who are most affected by inequality.

You will become part of a modern and ambitious organization with a strong professional environment and an informal working culture. Our office is located on Mimersgade in Copenhagen, where we work closely across departments and enjoy a diverse and inclusive community.

Application

Please submit your application via the link below no later than August 3, 2025.

First-round interviews are expected to take place in week 33, with second-round interviews in week 34.

If you have any questions about the position, feel free to contact CFO Mikkel Hauschildt (mikkel.hauschildt@planbornefonden.dk / +45 26 79 73 13).

At PlanBørnefonden, we work for children’s rights, gender equality, and anti-racism.
