Reporting and Analysis

About the position

You can look forward to becoming part of a small finance team consisting of dedicated and skilled colleagues who provide financial support and assistance to the rest of the organization. You will be working closely with colleagues in Denmark as well as in the global organization, Plan International. You need a work permit or a residence permit to work in Denmark. 

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Monthly and year-end reporting to Global Hub Office.
  • Backup and support on Intercompany related tasks and reporting/reconciliations.
  • Various analysis for internal use.
  • Support the forecast and budget process.
  • Report and follow up and forecasts, cash forecasts and budget process.
  • Various declarations and reports to authorities
  • Tasks related to our month-end process e.g. exchange rate adjustments, reconciliation, review tasks, controlling, review and spot checks. 
  • Ad hoc

Who are you? 

  • You thrive on planning and systematizing accounting data and like to create an overview and insight through financial reporting and analysis.
  • You work systematically, structured, and meticulously.
  • You are outgoing and service minded. 
  • You work independently with your tasks and take responsibility for solving any challenges.
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment with a focus on optimization and digitalization.

What are we looking for? 

  • You have a few years of experience from a similar position or with similar tasks.
  • You have a degree in e.g. economics and business administration, accounting, or finance.
  • You have solid knowledge of accounting software (We work in D365 F&O but that’s not a requirement) and is a confident user of Excel. 
  • You are experienced in PowerBI.
  • You speak and write Danish and English fluently.
